There is no better way to ruin a hobby (or something you love doing) than to try to make money at it. That turns it into a job. Hobbies are better. Hobbies are the best!

I have accepted that my writing is a hobby, although I do make a little money at it. But money is not the primary motivator for me. Just a nice bonus.

Plus, I am too old to chase a new career. Especially one so brutally difficult to make a living at. I already am a musician. I don't need another low-paying job. 😉
