This made me laugh, Sarah. My wife is the same way. During take off she buries her head on my lap, or her own lap if I am not available, and doesn’t come up until the plane levels out. Turbulence is the same thing. Her head goes down instantly. No need for flight attendant instructions. She automatically assumes the crash position. I feel bad for her. And she she flies more often than I do.
I don’t like sheer drop-offs, like cliffs, or tall buildings roofs without railings, but flying doesn’t bother me for some reason. It’s funny how the mind works. I hope the pills help. And you have a great trip.
