Upside Down Man

Less Than Stellar Superpowers

Upside Down Man is not much of a superpower
Water always gets up my nose when I take a shower

Running using my hands is more than a little tricky
Floors are often sticky, they are gross, and it’s icky

Nature walks are tough; those pinecones are a killer
And I don’t even want to talk about that squishy caterpillar

Fighting villains upside down is anything but easy
Especially when my perspective tends to make me queasy

People’s ankles are usually not pleasant things to see
As a matter of fact, neither are their knees

Driving a car cannot be safely done
The end results are almost always hit and run

The whole world is one big pocket drop zone
I can’t count how many times I’ve lost my phone

Why, oh why, couldn’t I just fly?
Or be a two-bit private eye?

My powers have become my personal downfall
I tell you this, Upside Down Man is not super at all
