Viewed as a work of art, of course, you wouldn’t change a thing. It was culturally and musically significant at the time. As were the Beatles. I would never argue that. The Beatles were an unparalleled phenomena.

But viewing the White Album from a purely listening experience in current times, there are some things I wouldn’t miss if they weren’t there. But I am in good company. Even Paul McCartney pushed to get Let It Be Naked released—stripping away Phil Spector’s heavy-handed production.
