We had technology in the 80s. TV, VHS tapes, radios, record players. Plus Atari and Commodore computers, for playing video games at home, as they pretty much useless for anything else. Then we supplemented those with toys, books, backyards, and neighborhood kids. “Go play with Beth.”

I thank God I didn’t have to worry about internet porn or stalkers or all the other garbage the internet brought to those little screens children (and adults) are so easily addicted to now.

I am very thankful I don’t have to parent now. And I admire those who manage to do it well despite current technology.
